I always used an accountant to do my taxes because they aren’t as straightforward as other people’s. This software caught stuff my accountant had never even mentioned to me, I’m not sure he even knows about all the new deductions TurboTax found! And it was so easy to use. The software breaks all the complicated stuff up and distilled it down into simple questions; even a non-finance guy like me can understand what’s going on. Plus, it anticipates questions. There are pop-ups that you can click to get in-depth explanations if and when you need them. It does all the math and formulas for you. And it saves your work so you can stop and start again right where you left off. It even checks your return for errors and indicates if there’s something on your return that could trigger an audit and shows what you can do to fix it. Plus, now that I’m on TurboTax, I just log into my account for the new tax year and all my past tax return info is there and automatically plugged in. No need to re-invent the wheel.

TurboTax took the stress and time out of tax season for me. Plus it paid for itself many times over – I mean, now, instead of paying someone $600 + to figure out my taxes, I let TurboTax do it for me. This year I think I’ll get a new HD TV with the money I’ve saved by using TurboTax instead of my expensive accountant.
